Hearn-Luminato-9250-2

On Thursday I was fortunate enough to attend the Yves St. Laurent & Luminato opening party with my father which was held at the old Hearn Power Station, usually the site of movie sets and the odd urban explorers who venture in to snap photos although the premises is patrolled by security 24/7, Thursday it saw a whole new kind of event.

So for Valentine's Day this year seeing as how I was single I wasn't sure what exactly to do, until I got a message from my Montreal friend Cyndi about a party her boyfriend was throwing with the wonderful people over at Promise.  A-MAZING!

Under the bridge: 2010 Toronto Graffiti throwback

Nick Wons-0037

Lately I've been clearing up disk space on my computer and with over 77k photos on one of my drives that means there's a ton of images to sort through and some of which have never been uploaded. Today I ended up going through a bunch of pics from 2009/2010 and keeping up with my last post I'm going to post some more Toronto graffiti. Below you'll find a mix and blend of works by: Ren, Kwest, Sight,  Kasm and Bacon (these photos were shot on April 19th 2010). Over the next few weeks while I thin out my hard drive I'll post more graffiti pics, lord knows I have a ton of them. Enjoy!

Just a second, every day, for the rest of your life.

Coffee 2013- Nick Wons-1

Spring is in the air, sort of. It's been nice to get this winter behind us for the most part and start planning Spring/Summer 2013, however with the possibility of snow by the end of the week it's not leaving me a happy Nicky to say the least. I guess I shouldn't complain though because it could always be worse; could be dealing with earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, tsunamis, malaria mosquitoes and  venomous creatures that bite such as that new face sized tarantula discovered in Sri Lanka. Guess I'll take snow & cold FTW!

Dudeman’s “Colour Therapy” art show photos

DudemanArt 2013- Nick Wons-78 (Custom)

On March 21st I was asked by my long time friend and oldschool Toronto artist Nicholas Sinclair aka Dudeman to document his first solo art show entitled "Colour Therapy". For years Nicholas has been pushing the creative envelope with his vibrant art work and unique style which has landed him numerous gigs with clients such as Hermes, Chatelaine, Rogers Wireless, Holt Renfrew, Microsoft and countless other big name clients. For those that were at the event, here's the photos you've been looking for. For those who missed out, here's where you can see exactly what you missed.
